Government polytechnic ,Champaran is one of the prestigious institute for technical Education in Diploma Engineering.It is under administrative control of department of Science and Technology.It was established in 2016. Its newly constructed state of art campus with Administrative Building,Academic Block,3-Hostels,workshop,staff Quater was inaugrated by the H’onble Chief Minister of Bihar Shri Nitish Kumar on 1st November 2018.

Currently this institute offer Diploma course in Engineering in four different Field Civil Engineering ,Electrical Engineering,Mechanical Engineering and Electronics Engineering.This Institute offers one year certificate course like Fitter,Electrician,Amanat and Modular concept in computer programming (MCCP) Under Internal Revenue Generation Scheme (IRGS).
This college going to offer Skill Development Course like Kushal yuva program (KYP) Under Bihar Skill Development Mission (BSDM) for the Student.
